It was in 1947 during the British sponsored India-Pakistan partition that the Shergill family were forced to flee their palatial home in Lahore and re-locate to a one-room unit. It was here that Mr. Shergill made the decision that he will never let such troubled times touch his family, he toiled day and night, ran a business, and moved into more spacious surroundings, only to have his parents pass away without having to enjoy the fruit of his labor. Now Shergill has two sons, Udesh and Karan, while Udesh has taken up the family business, Karan is a slacker, with no motivation to do anything. He loves Romila Dutta (Romi) and hopes to marry her someday. Then one day while watching a Arnold Schwarzenegger movie, he decides to enlist in the Indian Military Academy, much to his parents' shock and surprise. Karan's tryst with the military does not last long, and he deserts, but when he finds out that his parents and his brother have no respect for him and they were expecting him to return home, he decides to return to the military. Years later, Karan and Romi meet. He is now Acting Captain in the Indian Military, a man with a mission, to climb Peak 5179 and host the Indian Tricolor there by any means, while Romi is now a correspondent for Global News - engaged to be married to a businessman named Manish Kunj.

Set in modern day India, SWADES tackles the issue facing the citizens of this nation at grassroots level. The India of SWADES is colorful, heterogeneous and complex and it is to this environment that Mohan Bhargava [Shah Rukh Khan], a bright young scientist working as project manager in NASA, returns to, on a quest to find his childhood nanny.What begins as a simple mission prompted by nostalgia and affection turns into a journey to the heartland of rural India, both literally and metaphorically. Mohan finds his nanny, Kaveriamma [Kishori Ballal], the symbol of motherhood, in a village called Charanpur with an admirable young woman Gita [Gayatri Joshi] and her younger brother Chikku [Master Smit Sheth]. Mohan begins to interact with the Panchayat, which has at the helm the dogmatic but the just village chief. Along the way he encounters the quirky but endearing Mela Ram [Dayashanker Pandey], who sees Mohan as his ticket to the chain of restaurants he will start on the American freeways. Mohan befriends the local postmaster Nivaran [Rajesh Vivek], stuck to his old-fashioned ways, and the village children, whose future is inextricably linked with that of the country. Soon, Mohan finally realizes that it is his scientific temperament as well as his understanding of societal complexities that can drive the villagers to participate in a movement to better their lives

LOC KARGIL is the story of Indian soldiers fighting in Kargil and being remembered by their family. There is Vikram Batra (Abhishek Bachchan), a daredevil soldier who won Param Vir Chakra for his bravery. Manoj Pandey (Ajay Devgan), a poet by nature laid his live and was served with Param Vir Chakra too. The toughest of all the soldiers was Lt. In the year 1971 the Indian army has been sent to a deserted place in Longewala region in Punjab to war with the Pakistani Army. While the Indian army only consists of a battalion of 120 soldiers and war jets, the Pakistani army consists of a battalion of over 2000 soldiers with war tanks, arms and ammunition. While there the Indian soldiers recounted tales of there friends and loved ones at a long-lost war that lasted an entire evening with many soldiers loosing there lives and not one could tell a tale about the deadly night

He is then told that Nyah's Sean's old girlfriend and that he wants her back. Ethan is hesitant because it seems that the two of them have connected but is convinced that she is their best chance to find Ambrose, so he asks her and she agrees
