This trick is very simple, its nothing like something new yet many people do not think of using the feature this way.

Visit someone’s profile in stealth mode or invisible mode without letting your name listed in recent vistors ie. ANONYMOUSLY !

All you need is to change few setting in your orkut account while you want to visit profiles in stealth mode and when you are done then set back to normal.

So login to your orkut account :

Goto Settings -> Privacy -> Profile Visitors

There select Hide profile visits

Now surf in stealth mode, no one will know that you visited their profile.

But the problem is that by this orkut also disables the note that who visited your profile. So use it then disable it. ie. after use select “Show profile visits"

How to Use Character Map

Overview

Character Map is a useful utility in Windows which allow you to easily find the symbols you use in everyday words. Character map allows you to see the whole font, copy individual symbols or combinations, and see the keyboard shortcut available.

Character Map can be started in Windows 95 under the Start Menu, Programs, then Accessories.
In Windows 98 or Xp , it is under the Start Menu>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Character map.

The Program

When you first start Character Map, you will see a screen like this:

The layout is easy to use, with your Font selector menu at the top, the characters below. The characters to copy field is where the characters you doubleclick on will be shown, on the right is the Close program button, Select character button, and Copy characters button.

Start by changing the Font menu to the font which you want to use, in this case, it's Arial. We selected the character we wanted to see by clicking once on it. If you hold down the mouse button, it magnifies the character for you to see. If you doubleclick or click on the Select button, it places it in the "Characters to copy" field. Once it is there, you can add additional characters, or just choose Copy to copy it to the clipboard. Once it is in the clipboard, you can go to your windows program that you want it in and choose Paste from the Edit menu to insert the character.

When you click on the character you want to see, in the right hand corner of the screen, it shows you the shortcut keys to type the character directly in your program. To use the shortcut keys, first, make sure you Num Lock is on. Next, hold down the Alt key plus the numbers to create the character. For example, to type the character selected in the above screen, type Alt+0233. When you release the Alt key, the character will appear.

Six months ago Nokia launched the N97 smartphone in the market. The phone was touted to be Nokia's best yet and had a huge range of features and an impressive spec sheet that ran into pages. For some reason, however, I never really liked the N97. Sure it was a really feature-rich and powerful device, but it wasn't something that I could imagine using on a day-to-day basis. It felt more like a shrunk down version of a notebook rather than a mobile phone, which kind of overwhelms you every time you use it. The feeling that I got while using the N97 for regular tasks is equivalent to driving the Lamborghini Murcielago with a twin turbo V12 engine to get bread from the shop around the corner.

But now, six months later, Nokia has released the new N97 mini. As the name suggests the N97 mini is the smaller, shrunk version of the standard N97. However, Nokia has made very few sacrifices to the feature list while making the N97 mini, which means you get almost all the features of the N97 but now in a smaller, more likable package. But will it manage to be just as impressive as the standard N97 when it comes to performance, or has it also gone 'mini' on that front? Here is a complete review of Nokia's latest smartphone.

One of the most impressive things about the N97 mini bundle is the presence of the new high quality in-ear earphones. These are something that even the larger N97 did not have. The headset also has playback controls and volume control embedded in it. However, the TV-Out cable has been removed from the bundle, along with the charger adaptor (which allowed you to use old Nokia chargers with the N97 mini), the cleaning cloth, stylus and carry case. Another important thing is the smaller packaging of the N97 mini, which is roughly half the height of the standard N97 package.

Apple finally gave us the date the first iPads will hit store shelves: April 3. We've been closely following the touch-screen tablet since Apple first announced it in late January, but here's a quick guide for your most essential questions about the device.

First things first: How big is it?
The iPad's screen offers a maximum resolution of 1,024x768 pixels and measures 9.7 inches diagonally, 5.75 inches wide, and 7.75 inches tall. An 0.86-inch bezel frames the screen (with a hair extra room on the bottom to account for the home button), making the front of the iPad a total of 7.47 inches wide and 9.56 inches tall. The total thickness of the iPad is half an inch at its thickest point, which tapers down to a quarter of an inch near the edges. Total weight is 1.5 pounds for the model with Wi-Fi only, or 1.6 pounds for the version with 3G.

What hardware features does the iPad offer? Many of the iPad's hardware capabilities are identical to the Apple iPod Touch, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, a stereo audio output (headphone jack), built-in speaker, an integrated lithium ion rechargeable battery, and NAND flash memory. A built-in accelerometer and ambient light sensor are also included on the iPad.

Hardware features that distinguish the iPad from the iPod Touch include a 1GHz A4 processor, an oleophobic screen coating, integrated digital compass, built-in microphone, mute switch, and support for 802.11n Wi-Fi (in addition to 802.11b/g). The 3G version of the iPad includes a SIM card tray, as well as assisted GPS capabilities.

What's the deal with the wireless plan?
Apple and AT&T are offering a pretty good deal on 3G service for the iPad. There are two options: $15 a month for 250MB of data, or unlimited data for $29.99 a month. The bonus is that you don't have to sign any contracts that bind you to the device for two years. Each option can be prepaid for a month in advance. Again, you need the iPad 3G model, which bumps up the baseline price of the device to $629 (16GB), $729 (32GB), and $829 (64GB).

If I already have apps for my iPhone or iPod Touch, can I use them on the iPad?
In most cases, the answer should be yes. Older or existing apps can run on the iPad at their native iPod/iPhone resolution (taking up a small portion of the iPad screen) or used in a full-screen mode that artificially doubles the resolution. So long as the apps are in your iTunes library when you connect the iPad to your computer, most should transfer with no problem. There are exceptions, of course. Apps designed to take advantage of unique hardware characteristics of the iPhone (such as the photo camera or video recording) may not transfer, and would be useless on the iPad anyway.

That said, many popular apps for the iPhone and iPod Touch will likely be offered in a new iPad-specific version that makes better use of the device's larger screen. These apps, designed specifically for the iPad, will not be backward-compatible with the iPhone and iPod Touch.

I've heard the iPad is basically just an oversize iPod Touch. Is that true?
In some ways, it is a supersized version of Apple's touch-screen iPod: same basic look and functionality with its multitouch screen and reliance on iTunes and the App Store to install applications and download media. But there are plenty of differences.

The operating system is a version of the iPhone OS, but with a slightly different look and feel. Many of the same apps are there--e-mail, photos, notes, an iPod, calendar, contacts, maps, YouTube, and Safari--but have been tweaked to take advantage of the iPad's larger screen size.

The 9.7-inch screen offers far more screen real estate and also makes the iPad much more realistic to use an e-reader. That brings us to iBooks, the e-bookstore Apple created specifically for the iPad. It's an app that features a virtual bookshelf with content from five major publishers: HarperCollins, Hachette, Penguin, Macmillan, and Simon & Shuster. The iBooks store will feature both popular books as well as textbooks. Readers can choose to read in portrait or landscape mode and change the size of the text.

But that's not the only iPad-only software Apple has cooked up. The company had its engineers completely rework iWorks for the device, including Pages (word processing), Numbers (spreadsheets), and Keynote (presentations). Each iWorks app will be sold separately for $9.99.

There are accessories that will cause some major iPhone/iPod envy as well, like the keyboard dock accessory. There's also a camera connection kit that lets users import images from their SD cards, and a charging/docking accessory, that when used in conjunction with the photo app's montage mode turns the iPad into an electronic picture frame.

What else might I need to use the iPad?
While the iPad can be used without a computer for the majority of its features, you will need to connect to a computer running Apple's iTunes 9.0 or later to initially set up the device. Computer specification requirements for iTunes 9.0 can be found on Apple's Web site.

If you plan on using the iPad at home for surfing the Web, and you do not have a 3G-capable model, you will need to make sure your home is set up for wireless Internet. A power adapter is included with all iPads, but users should consider investing in a charging dock if they wish to take advantage of the iPad as a photo frame. Users who anticipate using the iPad heavily as a word processor may want to consider buying Apple's keyboard dock or a compatible Bluetooth wireless keyboard.

What's missing from the iPad that I might find in a competing product?
The iPad is in many ways one of the first products of its kind--making it hard to draw easy comparisons. When weighed against high-end smartphones, users should know that the iPad is not designed for voice calls or text messages (though there are apps that can work around this limitation). More importantly, the iPad does not include a built-in camera for taking photos or videos.

When compared to low-end laptops and Netbooks, the iPad can't run common full-fledged applications (such as Microsoft Word), or use multiple apps simultaneously. Conventional input and output ports, such as USB, SD, VGA, and LAN are also missing, though some adapters exist to address this. Critics routinely point out that the iPad does not support Adobe's Flash media format, which is required to view content on many popular Web sites. Lack of an integrated hardware keyboard or high-resolution video output are also common complaints from the laptop perspective.

Finally, compared against dedicated e-readers (such as the Amazon Kindle and Barnes & Noble Nook), the iPad's reflective glass front and backlit color LCD screen arguably strain the eyes more than a passively illuminated non-glare e-ink display.

When and where can I buy it, and how much is this going to set me back?
There are two versions of the iPad. Apple announced Friday that the Wi-Fi version will launch in the U.S. on April 3, followed by the Wi-Fi and 3G-capable edition later in the month. Both versions will hit Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, and the U.K. in late April.

The price depends on your 3G needs and how much storage you require. The iPad's Wi-Fi-only version will start at $499 for 16GB of memory, $599 for 32GB, and $699 for 64GB. The Wi-Fi + 3G edition will cost $629 for 16GB, $729 for 32GB, and $829 for 64GB.

You can preorder both versions starting March 12, and you can order it for delivery from Apple.com or reserve a Wi-Fi version to pick up on April 3 at any Apple retail store. Apple has also said it will make the iPad available at Best Buy, but hasn't disclosed details on when that will be.

Answers to your questions about swine flu.

What is swine flu?
Like people, pigs can get influenza (flu), but swine flu viruses aren't the same as human flu viruses. Swine flu doesn't often infect people, and the rare human cases that have occurred in the past have mainly affected people who had direct contact with pigs. But the current "swine flu" outbreak is different. It's caused by a new swine flu virus that has changed in ways that allow it to spread from person to person -- and it's happening among people who haven't had any contact with pigs.
That makes it a human flu virus. To distinguish it both from flu viruses that infect mainly pigs and from the seasonal influenza A H1N1 viruses that have been in circulation for many years, the CDC calls the virus "novel influenza A (H1N1) virus" and the World Health Organization calls it "pandemic (H1N1) 2009." The CDC calls swine flu illness "H1N1 flu" and the World Health Organization calls it "pandemic influenza A (H1N1)."

What are swine flu symptoms?
Symptoms of swine flu are like regular flu symptoms and include fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, body aches, headache, chills, and fatigue. Many people with swine flu have had diarrhea and vomiting. Nearly everyone with flu has at least two of these symptoms. But these symptoms can also be caused by many other conditions. That means that you and your doctor can't know, just based on your symptoms, if you've got swine flu. Health care professionals may offer a rapid flu test, although a negative result doesn't necessarily mean you don't have the flu.

Like seasonal flu, pandemic swine flu can cause neurologic symptoms in children. These events are rare, but, as cases associated with seasonal flu have shown, they can be very severe and often fatal. Symptoms include seizures or changes in mental status (confusion or sudden cognitive or behavioral changes). It's not clear why these symptoms occur, although they may be caused by Reye's syndrome. Reye's syndrome usually occurs in children with a viral illness who have taken aspirin -- something that should always be avoided.

Only lab tests can definitively show whether you've got swine flu. State health departments can do these tests. But given the large volume of samples coming in to state labs, these tests are being reserved for patients with severe flu symptoms. Currently, doctors are reserving antiviral drugs for people with or at risk of severe influenza.

Who is at highest risk from H1N1 swine flu?

Most U.S. cases of H1N1 swine flu have been in older children and young adults. It's not clear why, and it's not clear whether this will change.

But certain groups are at particularly high risk of severe disease or bad outcomes if they get the flu:

* Young children, especially those under 12 months of age
* Elderly people are at high risk of severe flu disease. But relatively few swine flu cases have been seen in people over age 65.
* People with cardiovascular conditions (except high blood pressure)
* People with liver problems
* People with kidney problems
* People with blood disorders, including sickle cell disease
* People with neurologic disorders
* People with neuromuscular disorders
* People with metabolic disorders, including diabetes
* People with immune suppression, including HIV infection and medications that suppress the immune system, such as cancer chemotherapy or anti-rejection drugs for transplants
* Residents of a nursing home or other chronic-care facility

People in these groups should seek medical care as soon as they get flu symptoms.

A striking number of adults who developed severe swine flu complications have been morbidly obese. However, obesity itself does not seem to be the issue. The vast majority of extremely obese people suffer respiratory problems and/or diabetes, which seem to be the underlying reason for their severe flu complications.

If I think I have swine flu, what should I do? When should I see my doctor?

If you have flu symptoms, stay home, and when you cough or sneeze, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue. Afterward, throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands. That will help prevent your flu from spreading

If you have only mild flu symptoms, you do not need medical attention unless your illness gets worse. But if you are in one of the groups at high risk of severe disease, contact your doctor at the first sign of flu-like illness. In such cases, the CDC recommends that people call or email their doctor before rushing to an emergency room.

But there are emergency warning signs.

Children should be given urgent medical attention if they:

* Have fast breathing or trouble breathing
* Have bluish or gray skin color
* Are not drinking enough fluid
* Are not waking up or not interacting
* Have severe or persistent vomiting
* Are so irritable that the child does not want to be held
* Have flu-like symptoms that improve but then return with fever and a worse cough
* Have fever with a rash
* Have a fever and then have a seizure or sudden mental or behavioral change.

Adults should seek urgent medical attention if they have:

* Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
* Pain or pressure in the chest or abdomen
* Sudden dizziness
* Confusion
* Severe or persistent vomiting
* Flu-like symptoms that improve, but then come back with worsening fever or cough

Keep in mind that your doctor will not be able to determine whether you have swine flu, but he or she may take a sample from you and send it to a state health department lab for testing to see if it's swine flu. If your doctor suspects swine flu, he or she would be able to write you a prescription for Tamiflu or Relenza.

These antiviral medications aren't a question of life or death for the vast majority of people. Most U.S. swine flu patients have made a full recovery without antiviral drugs.

How can I prevent swine flu infection?

The CDC recommends taking these steps:

Wash your hands regularly with soap and water, especially after coughing or sneezing. Or use an alcohol-based hand cleaner if soap and water are not available.
Avoid close contact -- that is, being within 6 feet -- with people who have flu-like symptoms.
Avoid touching your mouth, nose, or eyes. That's not easy to do, so keep those hands clean.
If you have flu-like symptoms -- fever plus at least cough or sore throat or other flu symptoms -- stay home for seven days after symptoms begin or until you've been symptom-free for 24 hours -- whichever is longer.
Wear a face mask (consider using an N95 respirator) if you must come into close contact with a sick person. "Close contact" means within 6 feet. Note: There is no definitive proof that a face mask prevents flu transmission. Do not rely solely on a face mask to prevent infection.
Wear an N95 respirator if helping a sick person with a nebulizer, inhaler, or other respiratory treatment. Note: There is no definitive proof that a respirator prevents flu transmission. Do not rely solely on a respirator to prevent infection.
People who have or are suspected of having swine flu should wear a face mask, if available and tolerable, when sharing common spaces with other household members, when outside the home, or when near children or infants.
Breastfeeding mothers with swine flu symptoms should express their breast milk, and the child should be fed by someone else.

Short answer: Maybe. Face masks and respirators may very well offer extra protection, but should not be your first line of defense against either pandemic or seasonal flu.
Every day, newspapers carry pictures of people wearing face masks to prevent swine flu transmission. But very little is known about whether face masks actually protect against the flu.
There's a difference between a face mask and a respirator. A face mask does not seal tightly to the face. Face masks include masks labeled as surgical, dental, medical procedure, isolation, or laser masks. Respirators are N95- or higher-rated filtering face pieces that fit snugly to the face. Respirators filter out virus particles when correctly adjusted -- which is not as simple as it sounds. But it's hard to breathe through them for extended periods, and they cannot be worn by children or by people with facial hair.
People who have flu-like symptoms should carry disposable tissues to cover their coughs and sneezes. When going out in public, or when sharing common spaces around the home with family members, they should put on a face mask -- if one is available and tolerable.
People not at risk of severe flu illness can best protect themselves from swine flu with frequent hand washing and by staying at least 6 feet away from people with flu symptoms. But if swine flu is circulating in the community, a face mask or respirator may be protective in crowded public places.
People at increased risk of severe flu illness -- pregnant women, for example -- should add a face mask to these tried-and-true precautions when providing assistance to a person with flu-like illness. And anyone else who cannot avoid close contact with someone who has swine flu (if you must hold a sick infant, for example) may try using a face mask or respirator.

How long does the flu virus survive on surfaces?

Flu bugs can survive for hours on surfaces. One study showed that flu viruses can live for up to 48 hours on hard, nonporous surfaces such as stainless steel and for up to 12 hours on cloth and tissues. The virus seems to survive for only minutes on your hands -- but that's plenty of time for you to transfer it to your mouth, nose, or eyes.
So, we hope many of ur doubts regarding swine flu r cleared.. Dont panic abt swine flu.. It can Cured and Prevented by taking some safety measures.

We all miss one of the great awaited feature of how to set invisible status in gtalk. Just like yahoo messenger invisible status in gtalk will allow you to be online without being bugged by gtalk friends when you are at work or don’t feel like to be annoyed by your gtalk friends.

But the regular gtalk version provided by google does not allow you to be in invisible mode when you are logged in.

As seen in the image beside, you can either set your gtalk to busy, show current music track or any custom message as your gtalk status message.

Today, we will tell you how you can be invisible using gtalk without being bugged by your gtalk contacts.

There are two approaches to be invisible in google chat, lets discuss about both of them.

1. Invisible In Google Talk With Google Talk Labs Edition
In order to get invisible with gtalk only then you need to install a some what different version of gtalk called gtalk labs edition.

What is Gtalk Labs Edition?
